Andrea Tan

Andrea Tan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in community economic development and nonprofit work. Currently serving as the Director of the Microenterprise Project at Volunteers of Legal Service since September 2021, Andrea also contributes as a Board Member for RiseBoro Community Partnership. As an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School, Andrea teaches the Small Business and Nonprofit Clinic. Previous roles include Senior Staff Attorney at Brooklyn Legal Services and Housing Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC. Andrea holds a Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law, an MBA from Mid America Nazarene University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emporia State University.
