Sunggyo Jang

Sunggyo Jang has extensive work experience in the construction equipment industry. They started their career at Samsung Heavy Industries in 1991, where they worked as a Design Engineer and Project Leader for ten years. In 2001, Sunggyo Jang moved to Volvo Construction Equipment and held various roles including Project Specialist, Manager of the Engineering Service team, Director of Global Platform Manager, and Director of Strategy Program. They were also the Chief Project Manager and Program Manager during their tenure at Volvo. Their most recent position at Volvo is Head of Excavator Product Strategy and Validation, which they have been serving since March 2021.

Sunggyo Jang earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pusan National University, attending from 1983 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Changwon National University, studying from 2007 to 2009.
