Silvia Penner Gerber

Silvia Penner Gerber is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the Volvo Group and related sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for Volvo Financial Services in the Latin America region and President of Volvo Bank Brasil since April 2025, Silvia previously held the position of Vice President of Finance and Business Control at Volvo Trucks, where a focus on operational excellence led to VPS Gold certification. Prior to this, Silvia was Managing Director for UD Trucks in Latin America & Caribbean and for Volvo Buses in Colombia, overseeing financial performance, strategic business planning, and market growth across multiple countries. Silvia's earlier roles include CFO positions with Volvo Group Mexico and Volvo Bus Latin America, and as Diretora Administrativo-Financeira at Arteche EDC Eqptos e Sistemas S/A. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Economia da Energia e do Meio Ambiente from Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei, Executive Education in Business Analytics from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Goshen College.
