Bert D'Hooghe

Bert D'Hooghe is an experienced public affairs professional with a robust background in energy transition, climate change, and industrial policy. Currently serving as Advisor for EU Public Affairs at Volvo Group since December 2021, Bert D'Hooghe addresses public affairs across multiple sectors, including trucks and construction equipment. Prior roles include Policy Director at the European Round Table of Industrialists, where Bert D'Hooghe led initiatives related to climate change and skills development, and Advisor for Industrial Policy and Climate Change at IMA-Europe, focusing on the European industrial mineral industry. Additional experience encompasses advising on environmental and technical affairs for the European woodworking industries and management roles in various industry sectors.
