Giovanni Valentini

Giovanni Valentini currently serves as M&A Counsel at Volvo Group since April 2024. Previously, Giovanni held the position of Partner in Corporate and M&A at gunnercooke llp from January 2023 to April 2024, and before that, worked as a Senior Associate at Gianni & Origoni from November 2021 to September 2022. Giovanni's experience includes managing associate roles at Gelmetti Studio Legale Associato and serving as Group Legal Counsel at Coesia S.p.A. Further, Giovanni was involved in M&A as an Associate at Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners and worked as a Secondee for Group Strategic Transactions at UniCredit. Giovanni's early career involved corporate law at Studio Prof. De Pra and as an Associate at Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners. Giovanni holds a Laurea Specialistica in Giurisprudenza from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, earned between 2006 and 2011.
