Parker Jones

Parker Jones is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Group Manager, Driver Electronics at Volvo Group since June 2025. Prior to this role, Parker held multiple positions at Volkswagen of America, Inc from August 2015 to June 2025, including Manager of Connected Infotainment and Senior Systems Engineer, among others. Earlier experience includes positions at Volkswagen AG as Funktionsverantwortlicher SDARS and at Volvo Group Trucks Technology as an Electronics Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the engineering of audio/entertainment systems and antenna systems for various markets. Parker began the career with an internship at Volvo Group Trucks Technology, focusing on instrument cluster hardware and software. Educationally, Parker earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2013.
