Philippe Henriette

SVP, Finance, Processes & IT at Volvo Group

With responsibility for realizing the financial aspects of the company’s transformation, in particular the product-and-market profitability governance approach, as well as associated risk management, Philippe Henriette has held the position of Senior Vice President Finance, Processes & IT for Volvo CE since January 1st, 2016. Reporting to company president Melker Jernberg, Philippe is also a member of the Executive Management Team (EMT).

Philippe, 46, began his career at Volvo in 1997. He is now a recognized leader with solid experience in general management and in finance, and a deep knowledge of the commercial vehicles industry. Initially joining Volvo CE, he subsequently held a number of senior management positions in different divisions within the Volvo Group. His most recent role prior to rejoining Volvo CE was as Senior Vice President Finance at the Trucks Sales & Marketing organization in EMEA, based in Sweden.

In addition to Sweden, Philippe’s international career at Volvo has also included periods working in France and the US. He spent seven years (2004-2011) as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Renault Trucks SAS, in Lyon, France, and prior to that was director of Financial Control at Mack Trucks in Allentown, in the US from 2001-2004.

A Belgium national, the married father-of-two holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Mons-Hainault in Belgium and a European Business degree from the University of Twente, in the Netherlands.
