The board of directors at Volvo Group is made up of experienced professionals with a wide range of backgrounds and expertise. Several members have experience working in the automotive industry, including with major companies such as Scania and Volvo. Others have experience in research and development, including in the area of accident prevention and automated driving. Still others come from a background in telecommunications, giving them expertise in connected vehicle technology. All members of the board have at least a bachelor's degree, with many holding higher degrees from prestigious universities such as Chalmers University of Technology.
