Colm Lynch

Colm Lynch is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and trucking industries. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Volvo Trucks North America since July 2006, Colm leads root cause analysis teams to tackle high-cost warranty items and technical quality issues while managing application and integration aspects of the Allison transmission for both Mack and Volvo Trucks. Prior to this role, Colm held various engineering positions, including Lead Mechanical Engineer at AM General, responsible for the driveline of the HUMMER H1, and Senior Engineer at Ricardo Inc., focusing on chassis and driveline design for DaimlerChrysler. Colm's career also includes a tenure at General Motors as a Design Release Engineer for the HUMMER H2, and engineering roles at Ricardo UK and Timoney Research Ltd., underscoring a strong foundation in mechanical engineering with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from University College Dublin.
