Lu Zhang

Lu Zhang is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in manufacturing and process development, particularly in surface treatment and finishing technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Supplier Development Engineer for Surface Treatment at Volvo Trucks North America since February 2020, Lu has also held positions at BWI Group, Tenneco, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, Johnson Controls, Delphi Automotive Systems, and TDI Batteries, Inc. Expertise includes advanced manufacturing processes for painting, electroplating, E-coating, and plastic finishing. Lu holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Wayne State University, a Master's degree in Applied Chemistry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a Bachelor's degree from Shanghai University.
