Silvia Salomone

Silvia Salomone is an experienced research and development manager specializing in low voltage resins, with a solid background in epoxy, polyester, and polyurethane chemistries. Since March 2016, Silvia has been with Von Roll as the R&D Manager for Low Voltage Resins, focusing on formulation development and industrial scale-up of resins and potting compounds for motor and electronics insulation. Prior to this role, Silvia served as R&D/Technical Service Manager at Vaber Industriale spa from November 2003 to February 2016, overseeing projects related to adhesives, sealants, sound damping, and intumescent paints. Earlier career roles included R&D and Lab Manager at Retel Chemie spa and Lab Manager at Sika Italia spa. Silvia holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Università degli Studi di Torino, earned from 1988 to 1994.
