Ed Baldzicki

Ed Baldzicki has spent his entire career helping clients solve problems in the Mass Transit industry. He has a long and proven track record in leading high performance sales and account management teams. Ed directs the entire sales organization where he oversees new logo pursuits, account management and the technical sales team. Ed and his team are focused on growing the Vontas business through our customers’ success and making public transit the most desired form of transportation in our communities.

Earlier in his career, Ed held various leadership roles at market leading organizations that service public transportation. This encompassed extensive work overseas, including a three-year expat assignment in Shanghai, P.R. China where he managed the transportation portfolio throughout the Asia Pacific region.

He is a long standing and active member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), participating on the Business Member Board of Governors (BMBG), and serves on several other committees. He also serves on the fare collection committee with the Secure Technology Alliance.

Ed holds an Executive MBA from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, where he serves on the Board of Alumni, and a Bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg University. He also possesses deep operations and project management experience, as a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
