Robert Steffler has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Robert started their career as an Analyst at Accenture, where they worked on supply chain planning and modeling projects for Texas Instruments. Robert later joined Deloitte Consulting as a Process Consultant and Manager, leading integration and implementation projects for companies like Agilent, Neiman Marcus, and Dillard's. Steffler then moved to Glazer's Distributors as a Technical Project Manager, overseeing supply chain IT projects. Robert further advanced their career at PepsiCo, where they served as a Senior Manager, leading the development of enterprise data warehouse solutions. Steffler then held multiple roles at JCPenney, including Director of Marketing Systems and Customer Technologies, Director of Payment Systems, Marketing Systems, and Customer Technologies, and Sr. Director of Analytics, Business Intelligence, and the Oracle RMS Program. At Neiman Marcus Group, they served as Vice President, Marketing Technology and Vice President, Data & Analytics and Marketing Technology, where they focused on driving technology strategies, personalization, and customer experience. Robert then joined Vontier as Vice President, Data & Analytics, leading the establishment of a data analytics hub and driving digital strategy for revenue growth. Steffler's most recent role was as the Chief Technology Officer (Interim) at Matco Tools, where they led the technology strategy and transformation initiatives to grow the B2C business.

Robert Steffler earned a high school diploma from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in 1992. Robert then went on to complete their undergraduate degree in Radiological Health Engineering at Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1996. After this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Safety Engineering from Texas A&M University from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the CPIM certification in Production and Inventory Management from APICS in the year 2000.
