Dylan Brand

Dylan Brand serves as the President of Typhon Risk since April 2021, where the company specializes in providing insurance expertise through fractional executive services for managing general agencies, retail/wholesale agencies, and third-party administrators. As an Advisor for VOOM Insurance and Reserv, as well as a Mentor for InsurTech NY, Dylan continues to contribute to the industry. Previously, Dylan held multiple significant roles at James River Insurance Company, including Director of Operations, Claims Project Manager, Claims Manager, and Senior Claims Examiner, overseeing operations, technology projects, and claims processes across numerous states. Dylan’s early career includes experience as a Property Casualty Adjuster at Travelers and a Relationship Banker at BB&T. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a B.S. in Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University, along with an Associate in Risk Management from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
