Carrie McCulloch

Carrie McCulloch, MD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2008, they co-founded Kinected and served as the Medical Director. Carrie also co-founded and co-directed the Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries (FAMI) Workshop in 2006. Dr. McCulloch has authored a book titled "Netter's Moving AnatoME: An Interactive Guide to Musculoskeletal Anatomy" in 2019. Carrie also worked as a freelance contributor and associate editor at Chicago magazine from 2000 to 2004, where they managed interns, fact-checked articles, and wrote monthly features. Dr. McCulloch has also worked as an internal medicine intern at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in 2009. Carrie had a research assistant role at the University of Chicago from 2003 to 2004, assisting with grant proposals and a multi-center study. Additionally, they had a summer intern position at the Women's Sports Medicine Center at the Hospital for Special Surgery in 2005. Most recently, Dr. McCulloch joined Vori Health in 2021 as a Senior Copywriter and later became the Director of Content Strategy in May 2022. Carrie co-founded Nestfit, a start-up in the online pre/post-natal fitness space, where they designed and developed a membership platform and built a network of content providers and clinical advisory board members from 2016 to 2018.

Dr. Carrie McCulloch obtained their MD degree with Distinction in Research from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned their BS in Journalism from Northwestern University in 2004. In 2002-2003, they obtained a Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Pre-Health Studies from Northwestern University. Additionally, Dr. McCulloch has certifications in Full Mat and Equipment Pilates from Merrithew™ and Vinyasa Yoga (200-hr) from Sat Shakti.
