Package Designer and In-house Illustrator at Vosges Haut-Chocolat

Russell Gottwaldt has a diverse work experience in the creative field. Russell started their career as an Editor for F Newsmagazine from October 2005 to February 2007. Following this, they worked as a Freelance Illustrator for the Chicago Tribune from March 2007 to June 2008, where they created illustrations and typography for various articles. In November 2007, they joined Mintel Group Ltd. as a Graphic Designer and worked there until June 2018. During this time, they were responsible for designing graphics and visuals. Most recently, starting from June 2018, they worked at Vosges Haut-Chocolat as a Package Designer and In-house Illustrator. In this role, they created bespoke illustrations, developed visual styles for new products, designed packaging layouts, and produced various marketing materials.

Russell Gottwaldt attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Russell also obtained a separate Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film, Video, and New Media.
