Ed Boucas has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Ed is the Founder and Executive Chairman of VOTIX since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Founder and Chairman of BLOCKBIT, where they served as the Chairman and CEO from January 2016 to February 2019, and as the Chairman from February 2019 onwards. Ed is also a Member of YPO since January 2019 and a Member of HBS Alumni Angels of South Florida since July 2019. Ed Boucas founded and served as the CEO of CIPHER, a cybersecurity company that was later acquired by Prosegur and became its global Cybersecurity division. Ed held the position of Founder, Chairman, and CEO at CIPHER from January 2000 to February 2019. After the acquisition, Ed Boucas became the CEO of Prosegur Cybersecurity from February 2019 to January 2022.
Ed Boucas attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree. Then, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Harvard Business School and earned a degree in OPM (Owner/President Management Program) with a field of study in Business Administration and Management.
