Kate Harris

Vice President, Creative at VOX Global

Kate Harris has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and creative strategy. Kate started their career as a Graphic Design Intern at the University Communications department of Pacific Lutheran University. Kate later worked as a Promotions Coordinator at the Academic Internship Office, where they crafted marketing materials and represented the office at career fairs.

Afterwards, Kate worked as a Production Director at Impact Creative Solutions, where they provided event and service marketing strategies, managed a team of graphic designers, and worked within a budget. Kate also worked as a Designer and Web Developer at the School of Arts + Communication at Pacific Lutheran University, where they designed marketing materials and strategized the structure and content of the school's website.

Kate then interned at The Heritage Foundation and The Leadership Institute, where they gained experience in design, branding, and online messaging. Kate eventually joined VOX Global as an Associate Designer, where they designed informative HTML emails, brochures, reports, and PowerPoint decks.

Throughout the years, Kate Harris progressed in their career at VOX Global and held various positions including Designer, Senior Designer, Digital Experience Manager, and Managing Supervisor. Kate worked on a wide range of projects such as display ad campaigns, crisis work, web app redesigns, and annual report launches. Kate also led teams, managed client accounts, and brought expertise in user experience design, visual design, web development, accessibility, and product management.

Currently, Kate is Vice President of Creative at VOX Global, where they lead the design team and continues to deliver creative solutions for clients across different mediums and platforms.

Kate Harris obtained their high school diploma from Lake City High School in 2008. Afterward, they attended Pacific Lutheran University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art & Design, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (PR). In 2014, Kate completed a User Experience (UX) Design program at General Assembly. In 2015, they also completed a Front End Web Development program at General Assembly. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Insights for Innovation from IDEO U in February 2021.
