Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for aligning business objectives with associates and management in designated business units. The HRBP will be directly accountable for certain HR areas within the organization (i.e., reward, talent management, learning & development, organizational development), will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will not have direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. The HRBP is a senior level position, expected to lead informally and influence on all levels of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

BUSINESS PARTNERING

  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.

  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.

  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

HR AREA MANAGEMENT 

  • Owns the goals, objectives and metrics of his/her own areas of accountability (TM, L&D, C&B etc.)

  • Co-build the strategic plan for people & organization in collaboration with the HR management team.

  • Continuously improve and adapts the plan to achieve relevant performance that supports business to grow fast and healthy.

  • Improves the decision-making process with his/her stakeholders and ensures risk adjusted actions that will improve business results.

  • Sets-up the ecosystem of monitoring, reporting & adjustment of actions and indicators as per business and organizational needs.

  • Works with internal and external partners for continuous improvement in own areas, depending on the initiative deployed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Highly entrepreneurial profile – capability to navigate the VUCA environment of VOX, with resilience, openness, courage and flexibility.

  • Ready to challenge own assumptions and adapt his/her valuable knowledge to the environment and business model of the company.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines and policies.

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s business model, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

  • Excellent project management and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.

  • English – fluent.

Experience & Education:

  • Over 12 years of experience in HR, with working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, talent acquisition etc.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as an HRBP or Senior HRBP, in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Significant experience in dealing with international remote teams and leaders.

  • Proven track record in concept and project design and implementation, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree a minimum.
