Anurag Kanungo

Anurag Kanungo is the CTO and co-founder of Voxel, a computer vision and autonomous vehicle company. Anurag has over six years of experience in the tech industry, specializing in machine learning and software engineering.

Anurag began their career as a Junior Consultant at C42 Engineering in September 2014. Anurag then became a Software Engineer at Foundation for Learning Equality in August 2015. In April 2014, they began working as a Developer at Google's Summer of Code internship program.

In October 2015, Anurag co-founded Sherbit with the goal of providing patients with easy access to their health data. Sherbit was sold to Medopad in September 2018.

From November 2016 to May 2021, Anurag worked as a Senior Autonomy Engineer at Uber's Advanced Technologies Group. Anurag led the ML Platform efforts to build scalable Machine Learning for Computer Vision and Autonomous Vehicles.

Anurag Kanungo has a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, and a certification from Ec-Council in Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) ver 7. Anurag also has certifications from Redhat in Redhat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Redhat Certified System Administrator. Finally, they have a certification from Emtrain in Preventing Workplace Harassment.

Anurag Kanungo reports to Alex Kaveh Senemar, CEO & Co-Founder. Vai Viswanathan - Computer Vision Lead, Reza Javanmardi - Lead Computer Vision Scientist, and Diksha Gohlyan - Staff Software Engineer report to Anurag Kanungo. They work with Chris Beville - New Business Director, Kayvon Deldar - VP, Partnerships, and Artie Atencio - VP, Sales.
