Manabu Tokunaga

Manabu Tokunaga is an experienced technology leader in the medical imaging and software development sectors, currently serving as the Director of Software at Voxeleron LLC since April 2021. Manabu co-founded WinguMD, Inc., where roles included Chairman of the Board and CEO from January 2015 to December 2022. As the Founder and COO at Lury, Manabu developed a diagnostic quality medical imaging storage and distribution service. Previous positions include Co-Founder and Architect at Imorgon Medical, Sr. IT Architect at Philips Medical Systems, and Sr. Systems Architect at Stentor Inc., which was acquired by Philips. Earlier career roles involved software engineering positions at ACUSON and CEMAX, with foundational work in cardiac imaging at Imatron. Manabu holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and has pursued continuing studies in jazz improvisation and composition at Berklee College of Music.
