Patrick Shuker

Patrick Shuker has a wealth of experience in the technology sector. Patrick began their career in 1997 as a consultant with Concept One, where they designed and built technology solutions for clients such as Lastminute.com, Egg.com, BMW Finance, BP and Intel. In 2003, they co-founded Crystal Software, and was the CTO and Products Director until the company was acquired by Avelo in 2012. Following the acquisition, Patrick took on the role of CTO at Avelo Trigold. In 2013, they joined IRESS as Head of Mortgage Products, and also became an investor in Exonar, StaySafe™, and Voxpopme. In 2015, they became Director at Iona Tech, and in 2018 they founded Rent Chief.

Patrick Shuker attended the University of Birmingham from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a BEng in Electronic Engineering. Patrick then returned to the University of Birmingham from 1993 to 1994, where they earned an MSc in Electronics and Information Technology.
