Shawn Nguyen

Shawn Nguyen has diverse work experience in various industries. Shawn started their career as a Sales Consultant at Sonic Automotive in 2012 and later worked as a Sales Representative at Comcast, where they focused on inbound problem solving and negotiating win-win solutions for clients. In 2019, Shawn joined Cruise as a Senior Test Operator, testing self-driving cars in downtown San Francisco and analyzing their behavior in different weather conditions. Shawn then moved to AT&T as an Outbound Sales Representative, sourcing and closing leads while building relationships and creating network effects for the sales funnel. Shawn also gained experience as a Member of RevGenius, a community platform for revenue professionals. Most recently, they worked as a Member of Pavilion, a role they held alongside their current position as a Sales Development Representative at EnGen, an English language education platform for immigrants and refugees. Shawn's previous experience includes working as a professional poker player, using mathematics, game theory, and risk management concepts to maximize earnings and minimize risk.

Shawn Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Cal State East Bay- College of Business & Economics. The degree was obtained between the years 2005 and 2006. Apart from the Bachelor's degree, Shawn also holds several certifications. These include Sales Fundamentals and Asking Great Sales Questions, which were obtained from LinkedIn in May 2021 and April 2021, respectively. Additionally, Shawn obtained a certification in Inbound Sales from HubSpot Academy in March 2022.
