Chip Wofford

Chip Wofford currently serves as IT Director of Security at Voya Financial since January 2024. With a strong military background, Chip Wofford is a Commissioned Officer and Master Level Cyber Operator in the Air National Guard since September 2003. Prior experience includes managerial and architectural roles in cybersecurity at Benefitfocus, and information security positions at Belk and General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products. Earlier experience includes roles in network engineering, technology support, and systems engineering across various educational institutions and organizations. Chip Wofford holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from East Carolina University, as well as bachelor's degrees in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College. Additionally, Chip Wofford has completed senior and intermediate military education programs at the USAF Air War College and USAF Air Command and Staff College.
