Prateek Bhatt

Prateek Bhatt has a diverse work experience in the field of investment management and software development. Prateek started their career at Satyam Computers Services Ltd as a Software Engineer, where they worked on building the Accelerator for Swift network for BizTalk. During this role, they analyzed SWIFT specifications, developed XML schemas, and transitioned into a team lead position.

Prateek then moved on to Bear Stearns as a Systems Analyst, where they led an offshore team, developed and maintained in-house investment banking systems, and managed project timelines. After Bear Stearns, they worked at KPMG as an Application Analyst/Consultant.

Prateek joined Voya Investment Management as an Applications Analyst/Consultant, where they implemented a centralized data warehouse and led the development of the Swaps Transfer Manager application. Prateek later became a Senior Application Analyst, responsible for building the Quant Portfolio Management System and migrating BlackRock Aladdin Fixed Income to Aladdin.

In their role as an Application Manager, Prateek developed a new portfolio management system for Voya IM's fund of funds product line. As an Assistant Vice President, they managed the performance measurement system upgrade and coordinated with multiple business groups.

Currently, Prateek holds the position of Vice President at Voya Investment Management. In this role, they are responsible for recruitment, performance, compensation, and welfare of the team. Prateek also manages the Blackrock Aladdin Implementation for the Equity business and oversees applications for Equity Investment, Multi-Asset Strategy, and Fixed Income Mid-Office. Additionally, they are involved in automating marketing materials by aggregating data from various sources.

Prateek Bhatt obtained a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1998, they completed their Bachelor's in Computer Applications (BCA) from the same institution. Prateek Bhatt also holds additional certifications, including the CFA Investment Foundation Certificate from the CFA Institute in 2019 and the Executive Data Science Specialization from Coursera in 2018.
