Joanne Edwards

Joanne Edwards serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk and Data Officer at Wisr since December 2019. Prior experience includes roles at Commonwealth Bank from May 2011 to October 2019, where responsibilities encompassed general management of unsecured risk, including overseeing credit life cycle policies for various lending products, leading customer-centric credit risk modeling, and managing significant data transformation projects. Previous positions included several executive management roles focused on risk delivery, customer risk insight, and product management, as well as work at Westpac on the Basel II project, and a foundational career at GE Capital in credit risk management. Joanne Edwards holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Sheffield Hallam University and four A Levels from South Craven School in North Yorkshire.
