Jiachen Liu

Jiachen Liu has a strong background in bioinformatics engineering. They currently work at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. as a Bioinformatics Engineer, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from November 2019 to April 2022. In addition, Jiachen Liu gained experience at the University of Iowa, where they worked as a Lab Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant from August 2015 to March 2017.

Jiachen Liu holds a Master's degree in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University, which was obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Jiachen completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Iowa from 2012 to 2017. In addition to these academic qualifications, Jiachen also obtained certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2021 and in Machine Learning from Coursera in January 2021.
