Kevin Nguyen

Kevin Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Kevin began their career as a Lab Assistant at Reed Research Group, where they performed constituent work and analyzed the effects of enzyme expression on cell growth. Kevin then worked as a Geochemical Technologist at Chevron, followed by a role as a Lab Analyst at Valero Energy Corporation. Kevin then transitioned to Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they worked as a Manufacturing Associate, performing equipment checks, maintenance, and participating in non-conformance investigations. Currently, they are employed at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc., where they have held various roles including Associate Engineer I and II, and Senior Associate Engineer. In their current role, Kevin ensures consumable and chemical inventory for pilot batches, drafts sampling plans, authors SOPs, and manages the reorganization of ELN entries to improve the development process.

Kevin Nguyen earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. In 2019, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of New Orleans.
