Melanie Seidel has worked in various roles over the years, beginning in 1999 as Projektmanagement at Signalwerk Agentur für Kommunikation GmbH. In 2005, they moved to AutoScout24 GmbH as Head of Marketing TruckScout24. In 2008, they became Leitung Marketing & Pr at Gutefrage.net GmbH. In 2011, they took on the roles of Chief Community Officer and Leitung Marketing & PR at Voycer Digital GmbH. Most recently, in 2022, they joined rpc - The Retail Performance Company as Senior Manager.

Melanie Seidel earned a Master's degree in Magister Kommunikationswissenschaft, Markt- und Werbepsychologie, Neuere deutsche Literatur from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
