Beau R.

Beau R. began their professional career in 2013 as a Roguing Specialist at Niedermann Detasseling. In 2016, they joined KeHE Distributors as a Supply Chain Analyst, where they searched for inefficiencies in the inbound supply of products to warehouses and optimized the freight costs of moving vendors' items across the country. In 2017, Beau R. founded See Stylish, a modern e-commerce website that revolutionizes the way people order their contact lenses, which now employs five people. Also in 2017, they founded Voyista, Inc., offering trips to over 20 countries for unbeatable prices. In 2019, Beau R. helped lead a team of Yale students working directly with Rear Admiral John Weigold IV on a project investigating and analyzing Chinese antagonization in the vulnerable island nations of Micronesia. In 2020, they joined Avopass as a Software Developer (React/Next.js + React Native), creating a full-stack travel booking app in React Native leveraging simple, immersive UX and scalable backend technology, as well as a full-scale website with React + Next.js to complement the app.

Beau R. graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor's degree in a double major of Economics and Global Affairs with Distinction.
