Rachael Mercer

Rachael joined VOZ Advisors in 2021 and brings skill and passion around understanding patients and meeting patient needs. She enjoys the opportunity to leverage these attributes in helping ensure that the patient’s point of view is more thoroughly incorporated into the drug development process.

Prior to joining VOZ, Rachael launched her career as a certified child life specialist helping to improve patient and family care in healthcare settings. She has a strong background in the effects hospitalization and chronic illness has on the pediatric population and their families. Following her child life career, Rachael worked at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) where she provided support to individuals and families affected by neuromuscular disease through program development, navigation of barriers to access of care, and patient engagement.
