Para Soerensen Parris

Para Soerensen Parris is a experienced design professional with a diverse range of roles and experiences in the fashion industry. In 2020, they worked as a Design Director at VOZ. Prior to that, they were a Design Consultant at Angora Group from 2019 to 2022, where they focused on sustainable design and development. From 2017 to 2019, Para worked as a Design Consultant at M.M.LaFleur, curating and styling the Plus Collection. In 2017, they assumed the role of Director at 97, overseeing a temporary wellness and retail space. Para also worked as a Design Consultant at Tess Giberson, contributing to the relaunch of Lane Bryant's collection "6th & Lane" from 2016 to 2017. Para Soerensen began their career as a Founder & Designer at PARA in 2008, creating a sustainable and specialty drape knit/cut and sew collection. Throughout their career, Para has demonstrated their expertise in design, curation, and styling, with a focus on sustainability and modern aesthetics.

Para Soerensen Parris pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Designskolen Kolding, which spanned from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they went on to complete a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Fashion, Womens Wear from Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, from 2007 to 2009.
