Richard Head

Richard Head is an accomplished Insurance Broker and Risk Management Consultant, currently serving as the Principal of Headsure since January 2018, specializing in Financial and Professional Lines Insurance. Richard holds a prominent role as Director of Region 6 on the Board of Directors for VRA Rescue NSW since March 2021 and has previously contributed significantly as a Committee Person and President of Thredbo Ski Patrol Association Inc from December 2012 to November 2022, overseeing operations of the volunteer ski patrol. Richard's extensive experience includes serving as Senior Vice President at Guy Carpenter, where responsibilities encompassed broking Casualty Treaty business in Australia and New Zealand, and in various leadership roles at Liberty International Underwriters, AIG Australia, Marsh, and Aon Australia, focusing on financial lines and reinsurance. An alumnus of UNSW, Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws degree.
