Bert Brouns

Bert Brouns has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Bert began their professional journey in 2004 as the Managing Director of a small local audit firm, where they focused on managing the office, supervising annual accounts and return preparation, and acquiring clients.

In 2006, Bert worked as a Finance Manager (ad interim) for the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions. Here, they were responsible for stabilizing the accounting department and enhancing the timeliness and reliability of financial and management information systems.

From 2007 to 2008, Bert served as an Interim Financial professional at GMAC RFC, before joining Unilever in 2008 as an RA (in business). Bert worked in the same role until 2010, during which they applied their expertise in accounting and business.

Bert embarked on a new challenge in 2013 when they became an Interim Project Implementation Manager at CHC Helicopter. Bert completed the project successfully and moved on to becoming an Implementation Consultant VAT Reporting at the same company in 2014.

In 2014, Bert also became the CEO of vraagbod.nl, an online platform that facilitated obtaining the best price from various sellers with just one click.

In 2016, Bert returned to Unilever, this time as an Accountant in Business, where they worked until 2017.

Since 2017, Bert has been working at IQ-EQ, starting as an Account Manager Administration before progressing to the position of Principal Accounting. Bert has been contributing their expertise to the company's financial operations and management.

Bert Brouns completed their high school education in Beta sciences at St. Franciscus College R'dam from 1972 to 1978. Bert then pursued higher education at the Nederlands Instituut voor Register Accountants (NIvRA) from 1978 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Auditing and became a Registeraccountant (RA). In 1992, they obtained the certification of Registeraccountant (RA) from the NBA. Furthermore, they engaged in permanent education throughout their career, including completing the Permanent education Dutch RA program in 2014 and attending the NBA permanent education program in 2013. Bert'sfield of study primarily revolves around finance, general auditing, and permanent education.
