Julian Silerio

Julian Silerio has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development roles. Julian currently works at Vroom Delivery as a Senior Software Engineer since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Full Stack Software Engineer at the same company from September 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining Vroom Delivery, Julian worked at High 5 Games as a Web Developer from October 2019 to April 2020. In this role, they collaborated with different teams to create web-based features and improvements using React and Sass for video slot machine games.

Julian also has experience at FlexTrade as an Associate Software Developer from January 2019 to October 2019. Here, they deployed, maintained, and debugged order-management systems for financial institutions. Julian also developed internal web applications using Python, React, and C++.

Additionally, Julian worked as a Software Engineer Lead (part-time) at Columbia Business School from September 2018 to December 2018. Julian modernized a survey system and converted an application from Ruby on Rails to PHP.

Julian began their career as a Software Development Intern at Columbia University in the City of New York from June 2017 to May 2018. Julian redesigned and implemented the university's undergraduate lottery system and also worked as a Desktop Support Intern.

Julian also gained experience as an Intern at RumorFix and Los Angeles World's Fair, FPC in 2015, and as a Student Fundraiser and Intramural Referee at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2015 to 2016.

Julian Silerio completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. Prior to their university education, they attended Loyola High School of Los Angeles from 2010 to 2014.
