Bill Gowan

Bill Gowan is an accomplished program management advisor with extensive experience in diverse engineering and leadership roles. Currently at Virtus Solis Technologies since September 2021, Bill consults on system requirements, risk management, and corporate planning, while also serving on the Industry Advisory Board. Prior to this, Bill held the position of Commercial/Space Program Management Lead at Cubic Mission & Performance Solutions, where leadership was provided in the development of PolyStrata® devices for aerospace and commercial applications. Bill accumulated significant experience as a Senior Project Manager at Plexus Engineering Solutions, supervising large teams and managing complex product development projects in regulated industries. Earlier career experiences include managerial roles at Troxler Electronic Labs, technical sales at Motorola Semiconductor, and engineering management at Matrix Corporation. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University.
