Nergis Sungur

Nergis Sungur is the current VP of Marketing at VSight. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Demand Generation at Hopin from June 2021 to January 2022. Nergis was also the Marketing Director at Boomset from March 2020 to June 2021, before it was acquired by Hopin. From October 2018 to March 2020, Nergis was the Head of Marketing at Pixery, and they were responsible for growing the user base of two mobile applications - Funimate & Impresso - mainly in the USA and other English speaking countries. Nergis has also directed all marketing efforts with a hands-on approach including Apple Search Ads, Google UAC campaigns, social media campaigns, and influencer marketing campaigns on Tiktok and Instagram. In addition, Nergis created brand awareness of Pixery as a successful start-up in Turkey. Prior to Pixery, Nergis served as Head, Marketing at Segmentify from February 2017 to September 2018 and as Marketing Director at Paraşüt from January 2013 to December 2016. Before that, they were the Broadband Sr. Marketing Manager at D-Smart from January 2009 to December 2012 and the Marketing Manager at DorukNet from January 2006 to December 2009.

Nergis Sungur has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boğaziçi University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Affairs from UC San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science and Public Administration from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University. Nergis also has certification from the University of California, San Diego in Education Abroad Program (1 Year) and from Akbank TAŞ in Management Trainee Program (6 Mo.).
