Paul Avellino

Paul Avellino's work experience begins with their current position as a Cyber Solutions Manager at VSolvit, which they started in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Network Defense Protection from August 2018 to August 2021, also as a Cyber Solutions Manager. From July 2014 to July 2018, Paul served as a Program Manager at Redjack. Before transitioning to the private sector, they worked in the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Officer from May 1998 to September 2014. In 2010 and 2011, while working for DISA, Paul served as an Action Officer in Director's Strategic Plans and Information, and later as a Deputy Branch Manager from October 2007 to January 2010. Additionally, Paul earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science in the Autonomous Systems specialization track from the Naval Postgraduate School from July 2005 to September 2007, where their thesis focused on using artificial intelligence techniques to model opponents in computer poker. Lastly, as part of their military training, Paul attended the USMC School System from June 1998 to October 1999.

Paul Avellino obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy from 1994 to 1998. Paul later pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School from 2005 to 2007.
