Murad Dar

Murad Dar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Murad is currently the Head of Technology at VSP Vision Care since January 2023. Prior to this, from February 2019 to December 2022, they worked as the Vice President of Retail Tech and Innovation at Visionworks of America.

Before their role at Visionworks, Murad held the position of IT Director of Retail and Selling Systems at Tractor Supply Company from January 2017 to January 2019. Murad also worked at HOME DEPOT U.S.A., INC. as a Sr. IT Manager - Store Checkout (POS) from June 2015 to January 2017.

Murad's career began with Walmart in December 2008, where they served as the Technical Delivery Manager- POS Development until May 2015. Prior to that, they worked at TranSend IT as a Sr. Software Developer from May 2008 to December 2008, where they gained experience in application architecture design and development using C/C++.

Before transitioning into the IT industry, Murad worked as a Sr. Software Consultant at New York Life Insurance Company from March 2007 to May 2008.

Murad Dar obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
