Shauna Harrington

Shauna Harrington, SPHR, SHRM - SCP has extensive experience in the field of HR. Shauna worked for VSP Vision from 1994-2015, initially as a Senior Director of Workforce Development and later as a Senior Director of Outreach and Executive Talent. In these roles, they provided HR support, advised and coached individuals and teams, and developed and executed community initiatives. Shauna was also a featured speaker at various professional association meetings and conferences. In 2009, they joined VSP HR Consulting as the Managing Director of Business Development while continuing their role as Senior Director of Outreach and Executive Talent. Prior to that, they worked as a Recruiter at Visa from 1989-1994. Shauna was also a member of the Sacramento Area Human Resources Association.

Shauna Harrington, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development from Brigham Young University. Shauna also took classes towards a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services at Golden Gate University. In addition to their educational background, they hold various certifications including SHRM-SCP from SHRM, GSEC Certified Champion from the Greater Sacramento Economic Council, Voices 360 Feedback Certification from Lominger International, and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Certification from The Myers-Briggs Company. Shauna also has additional certifications in Benchmarks 360, Level One Mediator, Managing Personal Growth (MPG) Trainer, SHRM Foundation - Veterans at Work, SLII® Trainer, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from various institutions.
