Douglas Lima

Douglas Lima is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at VTEX since May 2022, Douglas previously held positions at FARFETCH as a Senior Research and Development Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on cutting-edge tooling and micro-services-oriented architecture. Prior roles include Software Engineering Manager at CWI Software, where Douglas managed teams and technical projects, and the first Technical Manager at Huia, overseeing recruitment and internal system development. Beginning a career in web development in 2005, Douglas utilized various technologies including PHP and ASP, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
