Thiago Doherty Garcia is currently the VP of Customer Experience at VTEX. Prior to this, they worked as the E-commerce Strategy and Digital Sales Enablement Leader for Samsung Electronics America from February 2019 to April 2020. In this role, Thiago led retailer.com digital annual planning process for all Samsung categories including electronics, appliances, and mobile. Thiago also drove e-commerce strategy and digital initiatives across East and West regionals for BJs, PC Richard, Newegg, Conn's, Nebraska Furniture, BrandsMart, and others. In addition, Thiago championed digital sales enablement through technology project management, business process improvement, and professional development and training. Thiago also produced and hosted annual Digital Boot Camp sales tradeshow for 300+ attendees.

Before their time at Samsung Electronics America, Thiago worked as the E-commerce Division Manager for Home Appliances - Demand Generation at Newell Brands from October 2013 to February 2019. In this role, Thiago was responsible for driving profitable online growth and visibility for home appliance products across all channels including Walmart.com, Sears.com, Lowe's, Home Depot, and Amazon. Thiago also oversaw a team of e-commerce specialists and managed relationships with key retailers and distributors.

Thiago began their career in e-commerce as the E-commerce Manager for Digital Marketing and UX Designer at Life Extension from January 2006 to October 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Life Extension website and developing digital marketing

Thiago Doherty Garcia has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University, a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communications, Multimedia Productions emphasis from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and a Bachelor of Science (Incomplete) in Industrial and Product Design from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Thiago also has certification from Samsung Electronics in Dynamic Presenter, LinkedIn in Executive Presence, Samsung Electronics in Integrated Marketing Communications Professional, FranklinCovey in Speed of Trust, FranklinCovey in The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity, FranklinCovey in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Jarden Corporation in Leadership Development Program (Team & Leadership EXCEL), and University of Michigan in Certificate of Proficiency in English (EFL).
