Charles EM Reynolds has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Web Developer and Activity Developer at The University of Manchester, where they developed software for a crowdsourcing database of historical artefacts. During this time, they also worked as a Computer Vision Engineer, developing visual SLAM algorithms on the Java platform. In 2016, they worked as a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer for Shortbite Ltd (DigitalBridge), where they developed pipelines for surface-orientation aware 2D/3D segmentation using graphical models and deep learning. Charles EM also implemented improvements to room layout estimation and boundary estimation systems using Fully Convolutional Neural Networks. Finally, they worked as an Activity Developer for the BBC in 2016. Currently, they are a Machine Learning Research and Development Engineer for vTime.

Charles EM Reynolds attended The University of Manchester from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence with Industrial Experience. Charles EM then continued at The University of Manchester from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Deep Learning & Ensemble Methods.
