Costa Colbert

Costa Colbert is the Chief Science Officer and Founder of Mad Street Den and Vue.ai, both established in 2015 and 2016 respectively, focusing on advanced artificial intelligence solutions for the retail industry. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Engineer at Smart Logic Inc., where notable work involved a NIH grant project developing a GPU-accelerated simulation program for computational neuroscience, and roles as Senior Scientist at Infomed Simplifications, Chief Scientist at Evolved Machines, and Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of Houston. Costa's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, an M.D. and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Virginia, and previous degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
