Antoni Orfin

Antoni Orfin's work experience begins in 2005 as a Freelancer, where they managed the full process of website development and conducted workshops on frontend development. Antoni then worked at IMAGIN Ltd. as a Senior Web Applications Developer, focusing on designing and developing web applications with high performance and scalability requirements.

In 2012, Antoni co-founded Octivi and worked as a Co-founder and Software Architect. Antoni was responsible for building a high-performance IT team, managing the development process, and providing consultancy in security, performance, and scalability. Antoni worked with clients such as LPP S.A.

From 2015 to 2017, Antoni served as the Chief Software Architect at PIXERS, overseeing technology and product architecture for their ecommerce platform. Antoni also worked as an External Consultant at Divante during this time.

In 2017, Antoni joined Droplr as the Chief Architect, responsible for product architecture and technology leadership. Antoni focused on ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of the product. Antoni also introduced engineering best practices. Additionally, they worked as an Engineering Consultant at Scalebeat, helping companies build effective engineering organizations and modernize their product architecture.

In 2018, Antoni joined Xebia Poland as a Solutions Architect and Architecture Guild Master. Antoni led the delivery of digital products and cloud transformation projects, working closely with C-level executives and development teams.

Antoni's most recent role is at Vue Storefront, where they are the Director of Engineering. Antoni leads and grows an engineering team of 50 top-class engineers, tech leads, and engineering managers. Antoni is responsible for the vision, strategy, and overall healthiness of the engineering organization.

Antoni Orfin holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to their Master's, they completed an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2010 to 2014. Antoni also attended Liceum Ogólnokształcące nr V from 2007 to 2010, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Additionally, they have a certification as a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, obtained in 2013.
