Kristine Coy-Foster has over 10 years of experience in compliance and legal roles. Kristine is currently a Senior Manager of Compliance & Employee Engagement at Vulcan LLC, where they are responsible for the corporate compliance program, including communication, training, policy management, third-party due diligence, conflicts of interest, and the employee helpline. Kristine is also a member of the DEI Council and leads several working groups focused on implementing DEI-focused organizational changes. Prior to Vulcan LLC, Kristine worked at REI for 6 years, serving as an Ethics & Compliance Program Manager and a Claims/Litigation Paralegal. In these roles, they ensured compliance with employment-related laws and regulations, maintained policies and procedures aligned with company values, and managed defense of cases filed against the company. Before REI, they worked as a Litigation Paralegal & Case Manager at Margullis and Ray, PLLC, and as a Paralegal in Personal Injury & Complex Litigation at Gordon Thomas Honeywell. Kristine began their career as a Paralegal at Troup, Christnacht, Ladenburg, McKasy & Durkin, Inc., P.S. Kristine has a strong background in legal support, compliance, and employee engagement.
Kristine Coy-Foster, CCEP, LPEC, obtained their Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Highline College, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Legal Assistant/Paralegal certificate from Clover Park Technical College, where they studied from 1992 to 1993.
In addition to their formal education, Kristine Coy-Foster has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional capabilities. In April 2019, they achieved the Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB). In July 2021, they obtained a Diversity and Inclusion Certification from eCornell. Kristine continued their professional development by completing an Executive Certification in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the Center for Executive Excellence, Inc. in December 2022. Most recently, in March 2023, they earned the Leadership Professional in Ethics & Compliance (LPEC) certification from the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI).
