Elizabeth Redmond

Elizabeth Redmond, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. Elizabeth started their career at Ernst & Young as an Assurance Intern in 2008 and later became an Assurance Staff. During their time at Ernst & Young, they performed various audit functions, including testing financial statement line items and ensuring compliance with SOX 404. Elizabeth also played a role in recruiting, training, and mentoring new staff.

In 2011, Elizabeth joined Vulcan LLC, where they held several roles within their Real Estate Finance department. Elizabeth started as a Staff Accountant in Financial Reporting, where they performed financial reporting functions and worked with different groups and subjects. Elizabeth then progressed to become a Senior Accountant, directly supporting the Vulcan Real Estate department and South Lake Union portfolio. Their responsibilities included preparing, analyzing, and reviewing monthly financial reports, as well as providing accounting guidance for significant transactions.

Elizabeth continued to advance their career at Vulcan LLC, moving on to become the Accounting Manager in Real Estate Finance. In this role, they expanded the investment portfolio in the Greater Seattle Area and was responsible for reviewing and analyzing monthly financial reports on a consolidated basis. Elizabeth applied industry-specific GAAP-based accounting rules to complex leasing, acquisition, and disposition-type transactions.

In 2019, Elizabeth became the Director of Real Estate Finance at Vulcan LLC, but left in 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. Director of Accounting at Vulcan LLC as of January 2022. Overall, Elizabeth's experience reflects a strong background in accounting, particularly in financial reporting, audit, and real estate finance.

Elizabeth Redmond, CPA completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 2005 to 2009. In January 2011, they obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
