Prakash started their career at Essel Mining & Industries Limited in 2004 as a Sr. Manager - Projects. In this role, they were responsible for assessment of business proposals, feasibility reports, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Prakash also negotiated mining sub contracts, labour contracts, and Capex proposals.

In 2007, Prakash left Essel Mining to join Aditya Birla Group Company as a Board Member. In this role, they provide strategic direction and oversees the operations of the company. Prakash has played an instrumental role in the growth and success of VVDN Technologies.
