Fay Hodza

Fay Hodza, Ph.D, currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for VVOB since May 2023. Previously, Fay held the position of Executive Director at the Global Teachers Institute from July 2021 to April 2023 and Academic Director at The African Leadership University from August 2020 to June 2021. Fay's extensive academic career includes roles as Head of the School of Social Sciences at IIE MSA, Academic Cluster Manager and Chief Lecturer at Monash South Africa, and Sociology Unit Head at Africa University. Fay has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and has been involved in curriculum development, research supervision, and academic management. Fay earned a Ph.D. in Human and Community Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Zimbabwe.
