Abhiteja Vulapu

Abhiteja Vulapu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and user experience. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Product Design at Vymo, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at bigbasket.com from 2015 to 2023, where they held various roles such as Head of Design, Principal Design Manager, Lead UX Designer, and Senior UI/UX Designer. Before joining bigbasket.com, Abhiteja worked at TECHZONE - An EROS International company as a Lead UX Designer from 2013 to 2015. They also gained experience at GT Nexus as a User Experience Designer from 2012 to 2013. Abhiteja started their career as a Digital Product Officer at British Council from 2011 to 2012. They also worked as an IT Specialist at Todays Great Deal Ltd from 2010 to 2011 and as a User Experience Designer at HBSAonline from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Abhiteja had earlier freelance experience as a web developer and designer.

Abhiteja Vulapu completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, AP, India, from 2004 to 2008. Later, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Masters in Information Technology from the University of Stirling, specializing in Information Science/Studies.
